Finally, we conclude our holiday selection with one of our absolute favorite decorations: beautiful wreaths made from driftwood. Wreaths are holiday essentials, and we love the natural look of this one. Made from collected driftwood, this piece is hand crafted, durable, and completely eco-friendly. It also comes in a variety of shapes, including one (not pictured) with a reindeer head. Crafted by Cynthia just for the holidays, this brand-new limited edition Home Essence candle is called “Noel.” We’ve been burning it in the store 24/7– no one can get enough of this comforting, festive scent! Cynthia describes it as a warm blend of apples and vanilla “with a hint of spruce.” Poured locally in Ventura, it’s made of 100% soy wax.

We at Fusion Home prefer the warmth and love of the holidays to the gimmicks of cheesy commercialism, and we’re pretty sure that we’re not alone. Many of us feel that loud, flashy products only serve to overwhelm and add to stress. We prefer a much more subtle, classic sort of season, so we’ve put together a unique selection of fun, elegant pieces that add to the magic and spirit of the holidays rather than detract from them. We hope you enjoy!

Our first selection is this strand of magical LED lights, and we’re in love! At eight feet, available in copper or silver, these bendy wire lights (on model Ula) can mold into any shape. The lights are low voltage, no-heat LEDs that are super bright and don’t need to be replaced for 50,000 hours. Though they really add to the festive, sparkling atmosphere of the holidays, these lights are not out of place amongst every day decor– we’re pretty sure they’d look fabulous anywhere, all year ’round.

While in New York last month we met up with friends at the Standard Grill at the uber chic Standard Hotel. We did a double (and triple) take at the floors. Pennies! Elaborately and precisely laid out in a tile pattern. We are now saving our pennies, not for a rainy day, but for a foyer floor.
