Design Star winning room featuring Fusion Home
If you are an HGTV Design Star fan, perhaps you noticed some familiar items in the winning room created by designers Antonio, Tori & Dan. We were a bit uneasy when we heard Tori mention the customer asked for beige, yet she loaded a truck full of lime and blues from our store, but they did a great job pulling it together!
I personally did cartwheels when one of my favorite designers and Design Star judge, Candice Olson of Divine Design, pointed at our Weave wall panels and remarked how she loved the texture they created on the wall.
Although not all items are available in our online shopping section, all are available over the phone or in store. Handcrafted of walnut and walnut veneers, with room for 35 wine bottles, door storage for more bottles and accessories and a wine glass hanger. Handcrafted by an artisan in the Midwest, this modern version of the hanging basket chair is both practical and art worthy. Winner of a prestigious Japanese design award, this hanging chair can be hung inside or outside. Why not find a beam in your living room and hang a basket chair or two? Or hang it in a baby’s nursery. I find this hanging basket chair is more modern and design oriented than the giant overstuffed recliners or country themed gliders on the market you often see in baby’s room.
Regardless of where you hang it, the light, graceful design creates a sense of minimalism, space and height in your room, as opposed to a heavy anchored-to-the-floor-chair. The hanging chair suspends with mountain climbing quality roping and hardware, a solid hand bent maple or ash frame and your choice of canvas fabric, the ever durable Chilewich Plynyl material (outdoor proof, looks great with many outdoor furniture styles) or heavy duty leather.
