Looking for a new place to eat? Try Moqueca, we highly recommend it! Nestled in Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, this restaurant is known for its Brazillian cuisine, including, well, moqueca. Traditional moqueca is a tasty seafood and vegatable dish made in clay pots, much like our selection of Columbian-made Frida Pots (available in store and online). Try it at Moqueca on 3550 S. Harbor Blvd., Oxnard to see just what this kind of cookware can do!

my florist cafe ventura interior
One of our favorite places for a coffee and a warm pain au chocolat before work, My Florist Cafe Downtown is conveniently located around the corner from us and open late for dinner, wine or cocktails. Named My Florist because the flagship Phoenix location occupies a famous flower shop by that name.
The decor is modern and cool and there is lots of room to spread out on a sofa, a tall table, the long stainless steel bar or one of the many indoor or outdoor tables.
Don’t miss their stellar wine event June 23 at 5:00 when local vineyards present over 100 wines for tasting. Cases available for purchase for just above wholesale!

Almost 75% of property owners that mailed their ballots in voted yes to taxing themselves. What does this mean? Downtown Ventura, following the National Trust for Historic Preservation of Main Streets nationwide, will have funding for essential services like safety, beautification and marketing to retain and grow the thriving and diverse business district it is.
